Withdraw the €500 note

UK banks are no longer allowed to accept €500 notes, as they are mainly used by criminals. 

The European Commission should examine the extent to which such notes are legitimately used, and to consider withdrawing the €500 note altogether.

    How about the European Central Bank, which has the exclusive right to authorise the issue of euro banknotes?

    Indeed !! This a most timely decision by an EU member states to show its diffidence vis à vis the Euro ! But everyone is aware of the prudent management of UK banks …
